VCC MENTOR PROGRAM: Winter 2008

The Mentor program brings together a beginning to intermediate bridge player (with at least 20 Master Points or the equivalent experience and under 200 Master Points) and an experienced player (either a Life Master or a non-Life Master with at least 500 Master Points) for a 3-month period. Mentors and Students must be Village Card Club members and ACBL members. The mentor provides individual tutoring in various aspects of bridge, taking into account what the student wishes to learn or improve upon. There are three scheduled mentor/student games, and the pair plays in three additional games at times agreed upon by the partnership.
Prospective Students and Mentors:
The sign-up forms for prospective Students and Mentors are currently posted on the bulletin board in the lobby of Casa de Carta, Please sign up on the appropriate form if you are interested in participating. Students who have a particular mentor in mind and mentors who have a particular student in mind may provide that suggested pairing to one of the Mentor Committee members (names/phone numbers below). While we cannot guarantee specific pairings, we will make every effort to accommodate your request. For further information, or to request a specific student/mentor, contact any one of us.
