The Sally Blevins Trophy as told by Jane Zambell

Sally Blevins was an individual who really loved the game of bridge. She was a small woman who wore a lot of jewelry, and was a pleasure to behold. Sally would come to the village several times a year and play bridge. When she left, she would always cry because she so enjoyed the game. When Sally died, her husband, Jay Blevins, established the Sally Blevins Trophy to be presented to a non-life master club member who wins the most points at the club during the previous year. The memorial was established in February 1995. See the Standing Rules for further details.
