Village Card Club Monthly Board of Directors Meeting
December 8, 2011
The Meeting was called to order by President Andy Cosby at 4:30p
Attending: Andy Cosby, Shan Merritt, Pat Bertnolli, Mary Kay Stockford, Johnnie Niemann, Annette Bono, Bubba Raxsdale, Chuck Stofer, Becky Rice.
Absent: Vicki Jennings, Nancy Luehring.
Guests: New Board Members Teri LaBove and Marci Beardon.
The previous month’s minutes and current agenda were approved.
Director Reports were limited as the General Meeting was held earlier today.
Chuck Stofer for Logistics mentioned that our carafes for our new coffee system were on the way. Becky Rice Club Manager mentioned that someone was taking the Director’s Test and she has applied to ACBL for all the appropriate games for next year.
Johnnie Niemann reported 446 paid members and 56 members over the age of 85.
Annette Bono for Communications mentioned continuing publicity promos in the paper and attempts to get our games on the Community Calendar.
Andy Cosby mentioned that the POA will be working to seal up any entrances to our ceilings that squirrels can use for doorways.
New Business
Bubba Raxsdale moved that we accept the proposed 2012 calendar was seconded and motion carried. Thanks Shan for all the hard work.
Bubba reported that the Finance Committee will interview all applicants for the Business Manager position and report their recommendation to the board for approval.
