Directors Reports:

Dick Condon reported that the many changes and updates to all our Standing Rules and Job Descriptions have been made. These changes were the result of our splitting the Vice President and Director of Education positions from combined to separate job functions. Thanks Dick for leaving all the loose ends tied up.

Cathy Irving reported the conclusion of a great year for education. All Tuesday November and December classes were cancelled and rescheduled for 2011. We had received $1,000 from the unit for 2009 expenses and expect a total of $1,000 this year also. EZ bridge classes continue to spread enthusiasm from new players throughout the club. Cathy also read a report from Teri LaBove which summed up the 2010 Mentoring Program. Spring saw 30 mentors and 30 players, with Fall moving up to 33 of each. Various members provided mini-classes on different aspects of the game. A vote was taken on changing the way the program is conducted and 2/3 of players and mentors requested the program remain the same. Nice job Teri! Cathy Irving was treated to a much deserved round of thanks and appreciation from the board for her outstanding contributions to such a successful program.

Annette Bono keeps the publicity rolling. She has sent the new board members ' names to the paper. She also volunteered to share some bulletin board space so other club projects might be publicized in a better location.

Sheila Cosby stated that not much has changed financially since the semi-annual meeting with the card club remaining in great financial shape. Thank you Sheila for all you have done for us!

Correspondence: Betty Schultz sent the board a nice note and Christmas Card—Thanks Betty!
