SPECIAL MEETING (CLOSED)
VILLAGE CARD CLUB BOARD OF DIRECTORS
JULY 31, 2007

The meeting was called to order at 9:39 AM by President Irving.

Present: Ned Irving, John Wild, Ginna De Thomas, Teri LaBove, Diana Podawiltz, Andy Cosby, Marilyn Biegler, Mabel Serpa, Fran Bazemore, Betty Schultz and Lois Schoenrock

This was a closed meeting due to the fact that it was dealing with a personnel issue.

President Irving opened the meeting with a statement that he is personally going to handle the issue along with John Wild. Since it is a personnel issue concerning those who report to him he has the authority to do so under the club governing documents. They intend to take into consideration verbal and written accounts of the incident and all will be treated fairly.

John Wild made an urgent plea for all board members to practice strict confidentiality on sensitive items of board business.

John moved to adjourn. Passed by unanimous vote.

Meeting adjourned at 9:43 AM.
