Special Meeting of
Village Card Club Board of Directors
May 22, 2006

Meeting was called to order by President Irving at 8:32 AM.

Attending: Ned Irving, Lois Schoenrock, Dick Condon, Teri LaBove, Allan Walker, Betty Schultz, Marilyn Biegler, Richard Robertson and Mabel Serpa.
Absent: Vicki Jennings

The two recommendations made by the Constitution and Bylaws Committee that required more discussion were reviewed by the board again. One passed and will be posted, along with the others, two weeks ahead of the Semi Annual Meeting June 8.

Teri made a motion that the President appoint an ad hoc committee to study the feasibility of setting up a Standing Committee for Education as well as to review the Job Description for the Vice President. Motion seconded and passed. The board wishes to provide for improved continuity in the education area and feels that this will help us with ideas to achieve this..
