Get your teams together and start practicing for 2008. The first Unit Team game will be on January 27th at 1pm. This game will be scheduled on the fourth Sunday of the month from January thru May. The Unit Team Qualifier Game for DeGray will be held on Sunday, June 29th. The teams that qualify from the VCC will play at DeGray on November 2nd. Players with 1500 or more masterpoints are encouraged to take the initiative and put together a team; 299er players will rarely ask you!!!! Your team points are determined by using individual masterpoint totals as of January 1st of 2008. The Unit Team 7 point format is as follows:
A - 1500+ = 3 points
B - 300 - 1499 = 2 points
C - 0-299 = 1 point
Possible Team Configurations are:
1 'A' player + 1 'B' player + 2 'C' players
or
1 'A' player + 3 'C' players
or
3 'B' players + 1 'C' player
or
4 'C' players
The breakdown for how many teams can qualify for playing at the Degray tournament is based on how many teams participate in the qualifying game on June 29, 2008 at the VCC and it is as follows:
0-6 teams = 1 team
7-12 teams = 2 teams
13-18 teams = 3 teams
